Pre-Order Information

All plant selections are based on availability. Quantities of some varieties may be limited, so order early. In some cases, substitutions may be necessary.

Pre-orders must be received by Monday, April 18, 2005. Mail to the address on the order form.

Make all checks payable to: Schaumburg Community Garden Club. Credit cards are not accepted. The Garden Club cannot be held responsible for cash mailed through the postal system, so please do not send cash.

Detailed planting instructions will be provided with each order at the time of pick-up. Sample garden designs will be available for the garden collections.

Pre-orders may be picked up either Saturday, April 30th, between the hours of Noon and 2:00 PM, or on Sunday, May 1st, between the hours of 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM at: Spring Valley Nature Sanctuary, 1111 E Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg, (between Meacham and Plum Grove Roads).

During the sale, other choice plant varieties and summer flowering bulbs will be for sale depending on availability.

Individual plants and shrubs will be available on the second day of pick-up, Sunday, May 1st, at the Backyards for Nature Fair at slightly higher prices. Arrive early for best selection.

A shuttle bus will be available on Sunday only to alleviate congestion in the Sanctuary parking lot. Park at Olympic Park, approximately ½ mile east of the Sanctuary off of Schaumburg Road. Turn south onto Wildflower Lane, proceed to park entrance on left (east) side of the street. Assistance will be provided to load your plants onto the bus for the return trip to Olympic Park.

As in past years, pre-designed prairie gardens and rain gardens are available.

Mail completed order form with check made out to Schaumburg Community Garden Club, to 1111 E Schaumburg Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60194-3648.

Woodland wildflowers and prairie plants in 4 1/2" pots or as plugs are available for order individually, as are shrubs in 5 gallon containers. Please Note: There is a $15 minimum purchase required on all pre-orders.

To help our volunteers process your order, please be sure to fill out the order form completely, and submit pages 1-3 of the order form. This will ensure your order is ready for pick-up when you arrive on May 1st. Please note, all printers are different, and the order form may require more than one page. Please be sure to include all pages when submitting your order.
